Woman Seeks Rabies Dog After Bite in St Charles
Mrs. Yvonne Isgriggs a 28 year old mother of two from 1722 North Fourth St appeals to the Journal for help locating a dirty brown average sized dog that bit her leg last Tuesday. The animal is believed to be near the Sycamore and Maple intersection and must be found within three days to place it under observation to avoid a painful series of anti rabies shots.

Appointed community and divisional chairmen for the 1970 Heart Fund Campaign in St Charles County were announced by county campaign chairman Mrs William Moody of Wentzville. 100 Years Since First Sisters of the Precious Blood Began Mission
The 1970 centennial marks the arrival of nine Sisters in 1870 from Gurtweil Germany who sailed on the Harmonika and reached Belle Prairie Illinois to start missionary work. They later moved to St. Louis and O Fallon establishing the Mothers house in 1875. A Centennial Committee plans several local observances this year. The report also notes plans for the St Charles County Historical Society Antiques Show and Sale to be held April 10 to 12 at Three Flags with Elien Hackley and DeLillis Wilke leading efforts.
