He serves in the 815th Airborne Early Warning and Control Squadron, part of the 552nd Wing, with radar operator Aleman Mabry noted for his role in the wing's mission to provide warning across the West Coast. Southern Bell Telephone accepted a bid of 70 million dollars for a debenture issue by Halsey Stuart and Company Inc. The 54 by 70 million issue will yield 6.35 percent to maturity and funds will support expansion across Alabama Florida Georgia Kentucky Louisiana South Carolina and Tennessee. The issue priced around 102.5 and matures October 1, 1961.

Chairman of Forestry Committee Names Edward Cardon
