Five Lincoln Parish Fires Burn Over Nine Acres
Lincoln Parish Forest Ranger Weaver Andrews reports five fires in the area over several days burning a total of nine and a half acres. One fire at Downs ville charred one acre of trash, four acres burned near Anticott Road, two acres south of Simsboro, one and a half acres near Farmer ville Road, and one acre north of Simsboro. All fires stemmed from burning trash near homes.
