Local groups plan a Muscular Dystrophy door to door drive on Tuesday night November 24 due to bad weather. Ruston High School clubs and Lambda Tau join with city police to support the effort aiding a seven year patient awaiting further treatment. Wayne Jordan of Downsville, a junior at LSU, received the Sir LSU Horticulture Society Award as part of 38 College of Agriculture scholars sharing nearly 10 000 in scholarships at Fall Honors Day.
