Little Eddy Bell Claimed By Death

Eddy Bell, eight, after two years of illness from a malignant brain tumor, underwent two brain surgeries. Son of Mr and Mrs Dalton Davis Bell of Bastrop, formerly of Fellowship, he died after a coma at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church where he accepted Christ as savior. Funeral Monday at 2:30.

Peach Festival Cobbler Contest Call For Entries At Cobbler Contest

Quota Club invites entries for the annual Peach Festival Cobbler contest set for June 22 at the Tech Student Center. Five classes span junior to senior divisions with specific age and experience requirements. Prizes include 7.50 first, 5 second, 2.59 third per class and a grand prize of 50 for best overall entry. Sunday afternoon in the hone of his grienedparents Mr and Mrs G W Delany in Dubach, guests attended as Judy Delany becomes his mother. Fiddle received many nice fits. Mr and Mrs Melvin Bubbal Colvin Jr of Superior Wisconsin announce the birth of a son on May 31 named Michael Ainsley. Both parents are Louisiana Tech graduates.
