Municipal Swimming Pool Summer Lessons Announced
The Municipal Swimming Pool offers four two week instruction blocks from June 8 to 19, June 22 to July 3, July 6 to 17, and July 22 to 31. Lessons run 8:00 to 10:00 daily except weekends, 30 minutes each day, five days a week, with no instruction fee. Admission charges apply via season ticket for 5 dollars if under 13 and 25 dollars if over 12, or 1 dollar for two weeks. Beginners and intermediates in early periods. Junior Life Saving in later weeks. Parents urged to enroll children during listed periods and times.

Louisiana Egg Producers Meet at LSU Clinic
Louisiana egg producers and poultry industry members are invited to a one day Commercial Egg Production Clinic at LSU Baton Rouge on Monday June 15. Chyde Inpram LSU Extension specialist says the event, sponsored with LSU Poultry Department and Poultry Industries of Louisiana, will cover efficient production and marketing of quality eggs. Sessions start 8 45 a m in Knapp Hall auditorium with welcome by Dr J Norman Lifvrson dean and remarks by Dr C C Brunson and Dr C W Upp.
