Weary Earl Long Tours Ruston and Shreveport
Governor Earl Long arrived in Ruston for a brief visit, rested at his sister’s home, then pressed on to Shreveport for more campaign activity. He said legislators were sympathetic to his bills though some opposed a special session, which he expects anyway. Long noted the state would pay about 168000 for a special session and appeared tired yet confident.
