Red Cross Chairman Plea for Lincoln Parish Drive
Don C. McCormack, chairman of the Lincoln Parish Red Cross Fund Drive for 1958, urged Rustorg and Lincoln Parish citizens to meet the goal even with a second donation. The drive is about $1,000 short of a $4,100 target, with two weeks more to April. He warned that the Red Cross must restore funds to handle disasters and said the goal of $6,100 is the minimum needed. The next months bring higher disaster risks as flood and tornado relief funds are stretched.
