The ad promotes Bucklen Arnica Salve as effective for sores burns wounds piles and chillblains. It claims the product heals completely and is guaranteed by Swayzee Bros. druggists at 25 cents.
Miss Ethel Grim offers dressmaking at Victor Thompson's home at reasonable prices. The ad promotes Dr. Shoop's Restorative for stomach and nerve–related ailments, Swayzee Brothers selling remedies, and Kennedy's Laxative Cough Syrup. It also markets Montello Granite monuments, Man Zan Pile Remedy, Kodol digestion aid, DeWitt's Kidney tablets, and Bees Laxative Cough Syrup, with names like Joe R Myers and Kokomo.
An advertisement touts Dr King’s New Life Pills as preventing appendicitis by regulating the liver and establishing bowel regularity. The ad notes the product costs 25 cents and is sold at Swayne Brothers drug store.
Joe R Myers of Kokomo is described as the largest monument dealer in central Indiana. He buys in large quantities and offers the best selection, claiming prices ten percent cheaper than competitors. Meanwhile the Baptist church ladies host their annual bazaar and market at Gaylor Brothers Grocery, with the market set for tomorrow.
