Hat Pin Swallowed by Cat Extracted at Indiana Vet College
Dr. H. G. White of the Indiana Veterinary College in Indianapolis successfully retrieved a full grown hat pin, 74 inches in length, from a pet Angora cat owned by a local woman. The cat had bitten the hat pin while its mistress displayed the hat, and the procedure involved in the extraction was performed in the college’s dissecting room. Dr. White, visiting Rossvile with relatives, praised the operation as a successful feat.

Mule Foot Hogs Arrive For W E Iles Farm
Two hogs of the mule foot variety arrived for W. E. Iles on his east farm. The animals resemble ordinary swine but have smaller solid feet.
