Herman A McLeland died Saturday evening December 7 at the Ellis Island army hospital New York while serving as a nurse after studying medicine at Indiana University He was born April 28 1900 in Scircleville Indiana He leaves his mother Mrs Jane McLeland brother Ray and several half brothers in Indiana and here The remains were brought home to Charles K Lewis and the Christian church service was held Wednesday at two o clock Rev George W Martin officiating Interment followed in Russiaville cemetery
