Group celebrates cleanup and snowmobile congress visit
A June goodwill update notes volunteers praising public area cleanup. Alan and Linda Butler attended the International Snowmobile Congress in Green Bay with six Snoman Group members and eleven Manitoba attendees at the Awards Banquet where Thompson's Nickel City Motors received the CCSO Snowmobile Excellence Award for North America. The tour included the World Champion Snowmobile Derby Track and the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame in Eagle River Wisconsin. Dinner and tours covered Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. The Manitoba farmers returned home after travel through North Dakota Minnesota and Wisconsin amid heavy rains, soil seed issues, and rising water levels on Devil's Lake and the Red and Cheyenne rivers. Manitoba looks good and homeward bound.
