Fred Penner Returns To Binscarth For Fundraising Show
Laughter and nostalgia filled the Vagabond Theatre as Fred Penner and sidekick Paul visited Binscarth for a sold out matinee and an evening show. The 67 year old entertainer flew from Edmonton, drove to town, and performed to raise funds for a new school playground. Veronica Havelange presented a memento from Penner’s former classroom, recalling his early visits. The duo then headed to Winnipeg for another engagement.
