Russell Ellis and group present a band concert Sunday June 16 at the Council Chamber lawn. The event begins in the evening and a silver collection will be taken.
Assembly President visits Rebekah Lodge to address 800 ladies of District No 14. Noble Grand Ada Jackson welcomed representatives from Binsearth and Foxwarren and honored Sr Mae Burgess Minnedosa Manitoba at a Rebekah banquet. Crystal Lodge displayed the annual shield and cup for Grade VIII excellence. The evening ended with lunch and social hour.

Anita Lewis received the past honored royal lady pin. other officers include Wilda Keiper Grace Wilson Thelma Wheatley Leafa McLennan Jacqueline Clement Alice Wowk Jean McNaughton Maureen Thom Barbara Dow Lois Laycock Ellen Clement Lil Drever Francis Jon Bessie Cooke and Lucy Kennedy as pianist.

Forty two residents of the Thunder Creek school district voted Saturday on the 12000 by law to fund a new school. The measure passed with 29 votes for and 13 against. Thunder Creek lies eight miles north of Russell on Highway 83.
Yorkton Museum opens for the 1967 summer season on May 5 with Geo. Sherwood again serving as curator. Exhibits include steam and gas tractors, 1910s cars, sewing machines dating to 1841, and various farm and household items. The museum offers 10 am to 8 30 pm hours, open Sundays and holidays, promising enjoyable visits for all ages.
