Beef and Barley festival plans remain flexible this year
The Russell Beef and Barley weekend will rely on individual groups to run events. A community dance and a trade show may occur, with a pancake breakfast and other activities debated by the Russell Business Group and Chamber of Commerce. Perrin hopes local groups stage activities if no official committee forms. In other news, Paterson Grain opened its crop inputs division in Binscorth on May 27, with Wayne Collins leading the ceremony and John Thiessen and Jack Folkett in attendance.
