Improvements underway at Asessippi Park in Manitoba
Manitoba Conservation funds over 15 million dollars for park upgrades in 2010 11 season. At Asessippi Provincial Park a 500000 dollar allocation funds a new playground path sports court and multiple play areas plus a gravel trail to the campground and roadway repairs. The upgrade is part of the Canada Manitoba Infrastructure Stimulus Fund and rising water at Lake of the Prairies has made boat launches treacherous with cautionary signage in place.
