Hemp plant on hold delays Dauphin processing facility
The Parkland Industrial Hemp Growers chair says Consolidated Growers and Processors paused plans for a hemp processing plant in Dauphin due to lack of U S policy on allowable THC levels. U S guidance has swung between 0.3 percent and zero tolerance, stalling development and investment. The Minnedosa Tribune reports Agricore's new elevator in Minnedosa aims to open by month end with a 460000 bushel capacity, steel construction, 32 inner bins, 5 outer bins, a 56 car loading site and a 30000 bushels per hour throughput.
