Asessippi Ski Hill opens with 2500 visitors in winter wonderland

Terrie Welwood reports the $7.8 million Asessippi Ski Hill and Winter Park opened to about 2,500 people. President Daymon Guillas credits extensive surveys and focus groups from skiers and non skiers across Manitoba to design a facility with minimal lift lines, ample space, vibrant lodges, and a blend of snow quality and activities. Opening day saw about 1,400 on the slopes and lines of only two to three minutes, signaling a successful crowd experience.
