Last Ditch Hope For Beth Naylor Museum Trustees

The eight member Beth Naylor Museum board faces a Thursday deadline and may resign amid funding hurdles for a new facility to house the late 1800s vintage clothing collection. Trustees proposed moving to the Burgess home at Memorial and Westbourne with support from the Thomas Sill Foundation, which favored a heritage site with municipal status. A provincial review by Manitoba Culture Heritage and Citizenship deemed renovations feasible and inexpensive, and a purchase offer was made.
