Family Pride Shines in Wells Community Homegrounds
The Shaham Joyce family of eight children in Wells, aged 2 to 17, financed through Farmers Home Administration, received a $40.00 grant from Supervisor Charles Hart for home ground improvements. Nine families in the area shared prizes with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Hartin also receiving $40.00 and Mrs. Mary Smith $20.00 for maintaining attractive homes. The contest aimed to motivate local families to improve and care for their property.
