Debonair Dandy an English springer spaniel owned by Vivian Diffendaffer of Oklahoma City was named Best of Show at the Rio Pecos Kennel Club show drawing over 400 entries. Group winners include a German shorthaired pointer aweimaraner baset hound and doberman pinscher among others. Robert W. Mitchell 77 owner of Mitchell's Pharmacy Roswell died at St. Mary's Hospital after an illness. Born November 11 1888 in Kosciusko Mississippi he moved to Roswell in 1931 from Pampa Texas. He married Louise Coe in 1912. Survived by wife son Robert W. Mitchell Jr two grandsons one brother and four sisters. Funeral Saturday at Ballard Chapel with burial at South Park Cemetery.
