Apollo Mission Second Crew Selected For Lunar Aim
NASA announced the selection of three astronauts for the second Apollo mission. Command pilot Walter M. Schirra Jr. senior pilot Donn F. Eisele and pilot R. Walter Cunningham will fly a up to 14 day Earth orbit mission next spring. Schirra, 43, is the oldest spaceman and previously flew Mercury and Gemini missions. Cunningham and Eisele joined the astronaut corps in 1963 and had not yet been assigned to a prime flight.

Roswell Community College will offer a 49 week electronics mechanics training for 35 unemployed persons under a Manpower Development and Training Act program approved by Labor and HEW.
