Murdered on Train in London Tunnel

The mutilated body of Mary Money, a young woman, was found in a southeastern railroad tunnel near London. Police believe she was murdered in a train compartment and her body thrown from the car. Miss Money left home Sunday night saying she would not be gone long.

Me teor Fast Passenger Wrecked Near Tulsa

The Me teor passenger train on the Isco railroad bound for St. Louis wrecked near Catoosa twenty miles east of Tulsa. Four cars jumped the track and were demolished. Several passengers were injured but none seriously. A second fast train from Kansas City followed closely and a collision was narrowly avoided, stopping shortly after the wreck.

Beulah Lynch Inquest Finds Morphine Suicide in 1905

Justice of the Peace J B Bailey and a jury ruled Beulah Lynch died from morphine taken in a personal crisis. The inquest held Monday September 25 1905 in precinct No 7 Chaves County concluded the death was by her own hand. City Councilmen in Omaha Jailed for Ordinance Breach

City Councilmen Dryball Bach Evans Huntington and Schroeder were sentenced to thirty days in jail and to pay court costs after defying an injunction by Judge Sutton. The group had passed a gas franchise extension ordinance the day after service of the injunction and plan to appeal to the state supreme court for a stay of execution.

Building Collapse in Buffalo Construction Site

A brick building under construction on Ferry Street near Herkimer collapsed this afternoon in Buffalo. Ten workers were trapped. two were badly injured. By 3:30 p.m. eight men had been rescued, all badly injured, with two more feared buried in the rubble.
