Skeen cites Democratic pressure over wool subsidy figures

Nyerere says Kissinger reports Smith accepts majority rule

President Nyerere said Kissinger told him Ian Smith has accepted majority rule for Rhodesia within 18 months to two years. Ruff subpoenas GOP documents in Grand Rapids

Washington auto bomb kills Chilean ex envoy

The former Chilean ambassador Orlando Letelier and colleague Ronnie Karpen Moffitt died when a bomb exploded in their car near the Chilean Embassy in Washington. Moffitt’s husband Michael was seriously injured. Letelier directed the Trans National Institute and taught at American University.

ENMU R Roswell to renovate former Air Force barracks

ENMU-Roswell plans a nearly 500000 dollar project to renovate a three story 25000 square foot former Air Force barracks for trade and technical programs. Dean John C. Gillis says renovations include partitions electrical plumbing an elevator new flooring and air conditioning with 479330 reserved for capital improvements and 355000 for renovation plus 124330 for equipping the space. The state Board of Educational Finance approved the expenditure.
