Hopkins scientist claims true cold virus found and vaccine
Baltimore Johns Hopkins scientist Dr. Winston H. Price says he isolated the first true cold virus responsible for about 30 percent of cases. He reports a vaccine prevented colds caused by the JH virus in 80 percent of controlled tests on more than 400 people. Immunity requires two shots four weeks apart, with no symptoms or side effects observed.
