Man Faces Charges in Fatal Wreck
State Police say Mexican national Dario Lopez 23 faced charges of leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license after a one car crash near Roswell killed Pilar Munoz. Recovery teams face floods and roof falls at No 9 mine
A six miners and five inspectors group working inside Consolidation Coal No 9 mine encountered waist deep water and large roof falls while beginning efforts to reach the 78 missing miners from a 1960 fire. Venturing 1% miles west from Atha's Run, they will pump water clear debris and stabilize the eastern two miles before phase two clearing more of the mine and removing limestone.
