For the year ending Aug 31 1940 income was 5730.83 expenses 5732.46 a 2.50 balance. 1941 budget totaled 5474. July August relief totaled 499 persons. In New York George Scalise former AFL union president was convicted of five counts forgery and grand larceny totaling 9662.27 with potential sentences.
