A pleasant-mannered young bandit robbed Thomas Straughen, manager of the American Loan Corporation, in broad daylight at lunch hour in Albuquerque New Mexico. The holdup netted 288 dollars as the thief calmly stood by with a pistol while a customer entered the store. The thief fled and police sought him.
