Candlestick Heist Solved By Shipping Lockers

In San Francisco AP report the 500 dollar crystal and gold candlesticks stolen last April from Grace Cathedral Nob Hill were recovered. Police Inspectors Osuna and Fogarty learned through an underworld grapevine the case would stay open until the pieces returned. A Los Angeles tip led to a locker in a hotel basement and a key arrived by mail. The candlesticks were found Friday and the case closed.
