Judge Pope Makes Record Auto Trip to Roswell
Judge Pope traveled by automobile from Santa Fe via Torrance to Roswell in about five hours setting a record for the route. He left Torrance Saturday afternoon for Carlsbad to open court there this morning, and sent a telegram to Dr. Bird just before leaving Torrance, reaching Roswell half an hour before the message arrived.
