Grace Hanna of Peoria will marry Dr J Oglesby Gable of Roswell at his home in Roswell New Mexico this Wednesday evening. She leaves Illinois today and arrives Wednesday night for a quiet wedding conducted by a local minister. They will reside at 208 Kentucky avenue for now.

Judge Pope Makes Record Auto Trip to Roswell

Judge Pope traveled by automobile from Santa Fe via Torrance to Roswell in about five hours setting a record for the route. He left Torrance Saturday afternoon for Carlsbad to open court there this morning, and sent a telegram to Dr. Bird just before leaving Torrance, reaching Roswell half an hour before the message arrived.

Bennett seeks Artesia rooming house opening

W H Bennett former rooming house proprietor travels to Artesia Saturday night to scout a similar business. A group of Roswell young women departed Sunday for Wichita to enter Mount Carmel Academy for the upcoming semester.
