Government mails new medical program kits to retirees
Beginning today 2.5 million retired Americans receive information on two new medical programs under the expanded Social Security System. An application card for the voluntary medical plan accompanies the kit mailed to eligible retirees. hospitalization and nursing care inclusion is automatic for those on the rolls. Mailings will continue at 2.5 million weekly until 15.5 million retirees are reached.
