Halloween Parade Opens City Festivities This Weekend
Local youths and adults join Halloween events Saturday and Sunday across the city. A 5 p.m. parade of witches goblins and ghosts kicks off the All-Schools Festival at the Eastern New Mexico State Fair grounds followed by 50 booths inside the Commercial Building until 11 p.m. Police say extra patrols will ensure safety as trick or treating is expected, with groups from Roswell Elks Walker Air Force Base and PTA groups participating.
