Disco dance therapy brings rhythm to elderly care in Idaho
At Orchards Nursing Home in Lewiston about 20 residents join three weekly 30 minute disco sessions led by staff. Mary Sadler, 94, recalls her early dances as she moves in her chair and on occasion walks to the Saturday Night Fever beat. The program aims to mobilize muscles and lift spirits, though no miracles are claimed.
