BLM Rejects Fort Stanton Airport Plan In Lincoln County
The Bureau of Land Management rejected a FAA backed plan to build an airport on 3073 acres at Fort Stanton in Lincoln County. Georgia man settles out of court with Roswell firms
A $227 649 civil suit brought by John R. Rodgers of Georgia against Max Wilson Inc. and Monsanto Inc. was settled out of court in U S District Court Roswell after the evidence was heard by a six man jury. Judge Santiago Campos said the agreement came while jury instructions were being prepared and closing arguments were to be made. Terms were not disclosed at the defendants request.
