General cut in freight rates ordered by ICC
Washington October 22 a general reduction in freight rates on hay grain and feed in the western and inter mountain territory was ordered by the Interstate Commerce Commission. The rate averages about ten per cent and are effective immediately affecting west of Omaha and many areas west of Chicago and Minneapolis. Chicago east and south are not affected.

Murrah Gets Death Sentence At End Trial
