Charles H. Wood 62 longtime New Mexico Education Association leader died in a Salt Lake City hospital after a blood condition. He served as executive secretary since 1959 after roles as assistant secretary and field service secretary and earlier as association president in 1949-50. Wood was a Texas native raised in Colfax County and held degrees from Montezuma College and Highlands University.
