Hostages freed as hijackers killed in Nagasaki bus raid
Police stormed a hijacked Nagasaki commuter bus early today after a muffled explosion. One gunman, Hisayuki Kawasaki, 31, was killed. accomplice Koichi Kawashita, 39, jailed. Nineteen hostages freed. some tied with wire. The hijackers claimed to be Aso Red Army Commandos.
