Nine hurt in two-vehicle crash near Hagerman
Nine people involved in an automobile collision two miles south of Hagerman at 5 30 Sunday afternoon escaped with only scratches and bruises. Vehicles driven by Warren Walker of Mapleton Illinois and Gridina Nieto collided when Nieto turned onto a side road as Walker attempted to pass. Captain Jack L Nichols stated Walker’s wife and baby granddaughter were in his car while six people rode in the other. Neither vehicle overturned and the Walker car was towed to Roswell for repairs.
