Death of Harlan Child at seven days old
The seven day old Harlan Child, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Harlan, died at the family home 809 North Kentucky Avenue this morning at 7:15. Brief funeral services were held at Talmage Memorial Chapel with Rev. Julian Atwood of First Baptist Church in charge, and interment followed at South Park.

Warren R. K. Graham, state treasurer, said $781,009 of the $1,000,000 in highway debentures issued in 1932 have been sold. The Denver Bond Syndicate reports $31,000 sold of the fourth block. $219,000 remains with a deadline of November 1 to dispose of it. The entire issue must be sold by December 20, with possible extension. The sale in blocks saved the state over $11,000 in interest versus a lump sale.
