Leprosy Treatment Trial Extends to Kalaupapa
Apparent success with chaulmoogra oil prompts expansion of the program at the Kalaupapa leper settlement Hawaii. Thirty six patients at the Honolulu station have been paroled after treatment and will be observed for one year.
