Tragic Crash Kills Alec Hammon Near Picacho
A big White truck from National Exploration Company overturned near Border Hill about 15 miles from Picacho killing Alec Hammon instantly. R H Hill, his companion, was badly injured and underwent surgery at St Marys Hospital. his condition was uncertain hours later. Hammon's remains were taken to Dilley parlors. Hill, newly employed by National, left behind a wife and two children. The crash was discovered by Paul McCutcheon, with details pending Hill’s condition.
