Pretty Church Wedding Unites Wachs and Farris in Roswell

Louis Frederick Wachs of Denver and Edith Seymour Farris of Roswell wed at the Presbyterian church in Roswell. The ceremony featured Lohengrin march, opal gifts, and a reception plan at 51 Logan Avenue in Denver after a train departure. The bride, wearing a blue traveling suit, carried white cosmos, and many Roswell guests attended the 9 am service. The couple’s wedding bouquet and gifts reflected family ties and birthstones, while the bride’s former employer noted her diligence and readiness for greater duties.

Rev Truett Draws Large Crowd in Dallas Tent Sermon

Rev George W Truett of Dallas preached to a large audience in the Fifth and Main tent. He spoke on prayer from James about asking rightly and the duty of prayer for salvation. Truett will hold services at 10 AM and 7 PM daily, with the morning service half an hour earlier than before, and invites all Christians and the public to attend.

First frost of the season forms overnight

The first frost of the season formed last night with wooden and metal surfaces covered by dawn. In shaded areas the frost persisted until eight or nine this morning.

Eight More Prospective Land Buyers Arrive in Pecos
