Urquidez Arrested in Flour Theft Case at Omar Leach Co
Irene Urquidez was arrested yesterday morning by city officer E J House Jr for alleged theft of six sacks of flour and a box of pancate flour from a freight car at the Omar Leach Co warehouse. The flour belonged to Omar Leach Co. He was turned over to the county and placed in the county jail. The alleged stolen goods were found in Urquidez possession in his Model T Ford.

UNM Senior Dies From Motorcycle Crash
Claire Frank a 21 year old University of New Mexico senior died from injuries after a motorcycle he rode crashed into a car driven by Mrs Elizabeth Bruskay of Albuquerque. Brother Austin Frank, also a university student, operated the cycle and was not seriously hurt. The body was taken to Yates Center Kansas where funeral services will be held. The Frank family formerly resided in Yates Center and their father H B Frank was once custodian of the university grounds.
