Orrison the accountant who stayed hands on with ledgers lifelong
Red Worley era accountant Orrison kept books with pencil ledger and a Smith Corona typewriter forcing retirement in his 100s due to handwriting decline. A Dallas Cowboys fan who followed Roger Staubach’s 1960 NM I season, he married Helen Riley in 1981, mentored her stepson, lived in Albuquerque, golfed into his 90s, and remained mentally sharp. He is survived by multiple nieces, nephews, and a stepson. Curtis M. Michaels can be reached at 575-622-7710 ext 205.
