Seven decades of Fair tradition at ENM State Fair booth
The St. John's Catholic Church food booth at the Eastern New Mexico State Fair has operated for about 70 years with volunteers led by Joe and Pauline Ponce since 1984. The booth serves green chile stew and supports church needs, with many generations contributing, while the recipe remains a secret.
