Special to Record from Analla New Mexico reports the flood of the Rio R ups water levels causing farm losses including corn beans and alfalfa. The biggest flood feared by the oldest inhabitants disrupted transport as a bridge washed away and a horse rider escaped injury. Leo Daniel arrived from Artesia last night on the midnight engine after supervising a well filling outfit for T M Daniel and Co. C C Smith of Altoona Pa among recent visitors. Channes Brown took the Pecos special this afternoon. S P Denning left on the special with his wife’s niece Mrs B S Smith of Mexia Texas who plans to return home if she can cross the river.
Mrs Best moved her entire stock to Forsyth Co and will sell at and below cost. Furnished room for rent advertised at corner Second and Richardson. Editor H. F. M. Bear joined a special trip to inspect the washed out railroad bridge scene this afternoon.

E Roll a banker from Alva Oklahoma who has resided here for some time started home this morning. He is the father of L E Roll who once ran the billiard parlor in this city.

W L Slinkard, a noted construction man, rode the special train this afternoon. He brought teams of horses and mules to aid in repairing the bridge work underway nearby.
Z. M. Baker, who formerly lived here and has visited Roswell for several weeks, departed this morning intending to return to his home at Alva Oklahoma with the usual proviso.
Mrs M D Barnes and her mother Mrs Reed were among the passengers aboard the special train.
