Buyers at the Junior Livestock Sale paid over 25 thousand dollars for calves sheep pigs and small animals. Security National Bank bought the grand champion calf for 1360 at 1.70 a pound 800 pounds. Fern Caviness owned the grand champion lamb 80 pounds sold for 4 a pound totaling 320. Ross Caviness grand champion pig 223 pounds at 2.25 a pound totaling 501.75. Add-ons brought total to about 25 070 with basic bids 22 870.10 and packing houses quoting higher per hundredweight.
