After a crash last December that left him unable to walk, peak says he walks with a limp but is improving. He returned to RHS in a wheelchair in March and walked by April, aiming to run again by the December anniversary and to build hot rods in his spare time.
Police chased an armed carjacking suspect who fled in a stolen vehicle and fired at an officer. The vehicle was tracked to a northeast Albuquerque mobile home park. a perimeter was set as the suspect remained at large. State police later said a youth involved faced murder and tampering with evidence charges.
AP reports in Truth or Consequences New Mexico that a five year old is involved in the fatal shooting of 30 year old Jonathan. State Police say the youth was taken into custody September 20.
