They confessed to aiding the attack on Ward Loveless a 51 year old Washington tax specialist found beaten and shot at his Peonian Spring estate. Wreckage in three rooms and the silvers were scattered indicating a violent struggle. Both youths were unarmed but police recovered loads for an automatic pistol. They await transfer to Virginia authorities.

Gallup New Mexico on November 27 22 year old former Albuquerque resident Mike Apodaca was shot on a north side street last night. Sheriff Mickey Mollica said Guadalupe Garduno a barber gave a signed statement admitting the shooting. Garduno was jailed and his wife held as material witness. Formal charges had not been filed by noon today. Garduno admitted firing three shots during a domestic altercation.
