London November 22 Premier Asquith announced in the house of commons that if still in power at the next session the government would provide facilities for the consideration of the woman's suffrage bill. The measure would be framed to admit free amendments.

James K Polk Taylor a 71 year old former slave and his free born wife donate 480 acres at Calhan forty miles east of Colorado Springs to the Charles Sumner Tuberculosis Association for a national sanatorium for colored people. About 300000 dollars expected to be spent on the project. The Taylors will remain on the land they have long occupied.
Mrs Della Raplee faces a $1000 draft charges and was taken into custody after her bondsmen J N Akin and Hugh Davis withdrew. Akin cites Pecos Valley Trading Company by laws as preventing continued backing. Raplee plans to post cash bond once Texas friends respond, bond set at $1250.
In Tula on November 22 a simple funeral was held for Count Tolstoi per his request. His grave was placed under Poverty Oak near the childhood site of the green rocking-horse. The ceremony was to be without Orthodox rites. A special train carried Tolstoi’s body to Astapova where mourning peasants met the funeral party.
Telegrams announced the death of E H Robins this morning at Las Vegas Territorial Hospital where he had been treated for mental disability. Former Roswell resident, he leaves wife Mrs W H Bohannon, daughter and son Harry Robins in Roswell and many friends extend condolences. Funeral plans not yet set.
